About eJETA.org

eJETA -- The electronic Journal on E-Commerce Tools and Applications -- is a fully electronic journal in that submissions, reviews, and delivery are all handled over the web. Thus, this journal becomes its own test case, and we hope it will grow with its readers and their contributions, insights, and needs.

Aims:

  • To publish the latest research methods, tools and applications in electronic commerce
  • To develop an interdisciplinary international forum which has a scientific basis and which provides technology transfer between university research and commercial/industrial communities
  • To keep up-to-date with latest developments in all areas of electronic commerce such as:
    • Electronic money
    • Secure trading over the Internet
    • Intelligent agent technology
    • Multimedia data visualization and information retrieval
    • Multimedia database technologies
    • Develop new applications for E-Commerce, such as:
      • medical diagnosis
      • tele-medicine
      • entertainment
      • education

Scope:

The scope of this journal is not only technical. It is also policy and technology issues regarding e-commerce practices. This is reflected by our editorial board, a mixture of computer scientists, policy experts, and e-commerce experts. In the area of policy we are looking for contributions which are very well documented, innovative, and tested or evaluated in a particular domain. Legal papers must address technical infrastructure and must include rich reference materials.
